Hi Everyone, hope you had a Lovely Christmas and didn't eat toooooo much. Its quite difficult isn't it when you buy and recieve so much fattening food...why do we do it!! I must have put on half a stone I am sure, but I refuse to get on the scales till Jan.1st.

Well now to a bit of normality, I got so much crafty stash for Christmas that I am looking forward to getting my house sorted again so I can play. As I work on my Dining Table ...end of Lounge) I have had to clear everything away to prepare for Christmas :(( I do so wish we had a spare room for crafting, I had a lovely little nest of my own in our old house and so miss it. Well managed to make a card last night for Mo's Digi Challenge Punches or Dies. I used one of my new Dies for the image and also a Marianne Die on the insert, but sorry my Camera battery has died before I could get a good piccy. I have put a couple of little birds on the insert. I will try and get my battery sorted and add a picture later.

Well off to clear some pressies away as they have overtaken the lounge and its really time they found a place to live....thats quite difficult in this little Bungalow I can tell you. xx

Things have been a bit hectic here for lots of reasons but I will be back with a vengeance and raring to go after the holidays.

snuggly warm.. furry friends

Hi everybody peeps, hope you are managing to stay warm...brrr!! Its freezing here on the NE coast. its a perfect day to play though :)) the heating is blasting out and my Dinner is almost ready too, so its quite warm and snuggly indoors. I thought before I had dinner I would post my card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge 72 which Gayle has chosen the sketch and theme of Ice & snow. It feels like snow might be here before too long, its so cold. Well to my card I used Nitwits paper and the snowflake paper I can't tell you as I bought it at Harrogate show and I don't think it had a name on the pack. My image is of course "Furry Friends " which is SN and the sentiment is from The Snowman selection. Ribbon and silver snowflake from stash.

Walking in a Winter wonderland

Brrrr!!!!!! well our lovely Pat over at Mo's digital pencil set Winter for this Challenge so she got Winter..lol I have never used so much flower soft on one card in all my life. Do you think I overdid it a bit...lol I have to admit to getting very carried away, I think I ended up just having fun playing instead of thinking of it as a card to send to anyone. Never mind it took my mind off new bathroom fittings...grrrr!! we have spent over a week looking at Baths Sinks,toilets, storage units, wall boards, cabinets, heated towel rails ....you name it we have looked and changed our minds 4 times in the process. I am now seriously sick of it and would be happy to keep what we have :( I wouldn't care the bathroom is so small, I now have to decide where the toilet roll is going :O Back to Sanity..lol
I think I should have titled this post "Let it snow, Let it snow, let it snow xx

Wow! First let me say we had the best time on Sunday evening, what a fab concert, Charlie never fails to put on a great show, we laughed ...we cried... and clapped till our hands ached. :) Now I am singing all day every day, this could go on for weeks, Den will be doing extra shifts in the garden.
Now onto crafty things, hope its brighter where you are, what a dull drab day it is here. Well to add a bit of brightness I thought I would post my little bit of sparkle, Its for LOTV no. 119 Bright & Sparkly Think the pic looks slightly blurred...or is just my tired eyes...lol. I really must go to bed earlier :o
As some of you may have noticed this is Bev's Sketch from last week...lol I got the papers and ribbon on and ran out of time so missed the challenge.....drat! so its been finished this week with a different image than I had in mind and some blingy sparkle to fit the bill :)) I love this image it makes me excited to get my tree up...woo-hoo!! I just love Christmas. I love to see the house bright and cheery in the dark winter days. This is the simple insert and view of the image and sparkley bits :)) Must go and make a start on the garage,see if I can add some sparkle to that... poor den must be quaking in his shoes...lol he knows how I clean out, I am ruthless when I start :D Catch up later today, hope you stay warm and cosy. xx

Sugar in the morning..

Happy sunday Peeps, what a fab sunny day, cold but the sun is shining thats a great bonus. I am showing my latest creation for the Sugar Bowl Erika's Sketch 71 Patchwork challenge Well the patchwork is optional but I had just bought this paper and was thrilled to find this design in the pad :) Its a lovely first edition pad called Isabelle I love it. The image is of couse from our lovely Sugar Nellie, and is Grace. I added Cotton Lace around the card and also around the image nestie. Flowers are from Wild Orchid and Hobbycraft and the pins were a gift from my lovely friend Irene xx I am struggling alittle with photo's lately I can't seem to take decent ones. I have rather lost my knack or I need a new camers :( I blame the weather ..its too bright or its too dull but I think its just me thats rubbish at photography...lol this is the insert and a piccy of the image, no sentiment added yet.

Naughty George!

Evening everyone..I bet you are all in bed , I have to say i am quite late tonight and not sure where the hours have gone to :0 So I will get on with my card to show you before I fall asleep myself.
This is one of the two Molly Bloom Stamps that I bought at Harrowgate show. I have been itching to get them inked up and I have to admit I loved colouring it, it was a joy to bring it to life. The stamp is called "Naughty Nativity George Stealing the Limelight" It is just so typical of what could happen at children's Christmas concerts, how many times have I seen a little one been nudged or shoved by another so that Mum & Dad could see them better ...lol of course its nearly always an Angel doing the shoving : ~ It really makes me chuckle every time I look at this stamp. I also remember making the Costumes for the school plays, how many times have I been told "I have to have it like this or like that" and I have dug through the loft looking for things to look the part....lol Fortunately I used to do lots of sewing but pity help people that don't sew....yikes! Anyway onto the card again.. The papers are a mix of Prima Fairy Flora (Green one) and the others are Dovecraft Noel all of which are mounted onto red textured card stock. I added a wood Angel which I added some Gold Stickles to, and of course added a litter sparkle to poinsettia This is the insert, but I couldn't get a good photo of it as it was too sunny,...not that I am complaining about the sun mind you. Its been a lovely day and we only needed fleeces on to go out which is a great start to November Long may it last :) Well I think bed is calling as I feel so tired I can't keep my eyes open. We went to Middlesbrough today to get Den's Specs...drat!!! he will be able to see how much I spend on stash so much easier now :O ....lol

In the Pink

Well what a great morning to be in the pink, the sun is shining and the garden is full of birds chirping happily away to each other. Its good to be alive, although its still rather cold...lol I think however my happy disposition is about to change anytime now as I have the dreaded HW to do. The place looks as though it needs bottoming as my mum would have said. Den has been a sweetheart whilst my back has been a pain, but now its time to get into harness and get moving.... Talking of Harnesses I could do with one to support my back....lol
Here is my card as time is short for Just Magnolia and hAnglar Pink challenge. It is of course Pink for Breast Awareness month, Please make sure you check your boobies ladies make it the same day each month, that way you won't forget and before long it will be so much part of your routine. It really can save your life and reduce the amount of treatment needed if caught early. xx .

A little sneak at the insert, quite plain and awaiting a Sentiment xx I will be back this evening hopefully, if I haven't worked myself to death...lol

CAS....YIKES!!!!!!!!!

Hi Everybody peeps, well what a challenge this was for me :O I don't do CAS very easy at all, I always want to add bits here and there. I even had to add the little snippets that came out of the punched corners and scatter them around "Sybil"...lol oh! and I added a few more to the scroll....tee hee! this was The Sugar Bowl 70 Challenge by Maria Therese Anyway once i got started on the sketch I loved it, and of course i am always a happy bunny using Sugar Nellie's

Talking of being a Happy Bunny, I received some Yummy candy today in the form of SN "Pippi Longsocks" which I won in the Blog Hop :)) what a little cutie she is. This is a card that I actually liked when it was completed...makes a change doesn't it to be satified with something I make...lol
I am actually putting it to the test as I have been getting help from our Lovely Pops on cleaning up my blog...wippee!! It was becoming so cluttered and full I was bored with visiting it myself never mind other bloggers. It is however a work in progress so be patient.... very patient..lol
I have saved all the things I want to re-introduce and will be trying to add more pages if possible, thats another big IF but Pops has been super at explaining things in simple terms, so watch this space. Well now to the card, I made it for a sweet little lass who has come to live across the road. She married her Soldier Sweetheart a few weeks ago xx I never got round to posting it on my blog at the time. I actually made my Daughter a wedding anniversary card in the same papers and liked it so much I decided it would make a lovely wedding card for Vicky.

This is the insert which I kept the sentiment very simple as we don't know her too well. I added a few personal good wishes to make up for it. The Papers are Melissa Frances 5th Ave, Image is LOTV and flowers from HobbycraftThe Lace I had in stock from local shop

Snuggle up close

Evening everyone,
Well chasing my tail as usual, I wanted to make my card for the Sugar Nellie Gayle's Sketch Challenge, but with all the hic-ups this week I have only just managed to squeeze it in. I almost didn't bother this week as I am not very happy with it at all. I like to be at least 30% happy with the finished card and this has fell well below that mark but I am posting it anyway....lol I think I am going backwards sometimes :(
I have decided I am going to create something Magnificent one day so you had better watch this space, but don't hold your breath for goodness sake....rofl xxx BTW sorry the piccy isn't very good but the light is rubbish x

well off to find my Mojo, think its feeling neglected and is sulking somewhere. Talking of neglect we were suppose to be going to have a look in "Next" today for Den a warm Cardigan/jacket, but I got waylaid in Debenhams looking for a Poncho and the shops closed...oops!! Den said he now knows how Next got its name!!!! We will go next time.....lol

Little Miss Cozy Toes

Brrrrr!!!!!!! Isn't it so cold, I really think winter has come early. Thanks to everyone that has sent good wishes to me and thanks to Irene from DC for my lovely card that has arrived today, its gorgeous, thanks my lovely friend.
The Back is still a little painful but I am up and mobile and the painkillers are down to morning and night. :)) Now on a Happy note....
Well what better weather than to make a challenge card with a theme of "Warm & Cozy" this was the LOTV Challenge this time and I am quite pleased with my card, which is very unusual for me as I am never satisfied with my efforts.....lol
I love this Image, she looks so cosy and snug, I coloured her with Promarkers and added some Flower Soft. I don't usually use F/S but I like the white one for snow and fur. I am afraid I cannot remember what make the paper is, It was a 12" x12" paper which I bought quite a while back, someone may recognize it and let me know. I hope to catch up with blogs tonight, and who knows I might even get a card made as well if I get my finger out and knuckle down to it. Sorry for being MIA

Hi everyone, so sorry I haven't been around to leave comments : (   I went off to Torquay with a slightly dodgy back, I haven't a clue what I did to it. However it was was a million times worse by the time I got to Torquay. I think the 9hr. coach trip did it no favours at all. I spent the week in agony and living on Painkillers.
THEN..... I had to face the 9hr trip home, it was a nightmare to say the least with my back in total Spasm.
 I had to give in and go to the hospital on Sunday, and get some perscription painkillers and then had tto see my own Doc on Monday morning who gave me Valium to release the muscle spasms. Well you can imagine where I have been  when he said take your Codene Phosphate, 2 paracetamol, and a valium all together...lol
I had to take 4 valium a day....me!!!! I can sleep anywhere at anytime normally, without added help : O
Well enough of my moans, but I had to say sorry for not calling round, this is the most I can manage to do at present as its so painfull to sit for long, but hopefully I will feel better tomorrow. I have been up today instead of laying flat on my back. The lounge carpet has got a footpath worn  in it today, so I think things are maybe improving a little and I can do some gentle exercise tomorrow..  : )) A walk around the block sounds good. Catch you all as soon as I can. xxxx Hugs to everyone

Autumn or Summer!!!!!

Not sure what the weather is doing but I ain't complaining, isn't this great to see the lovely sun when you wake up :))
 Well I bet you wondered what my Anniversary surprise was... Hubby took me to book another holiday break...wowee!! we got back from Newquay on Friday and we are off to Torquay next week so had better get my clothes sorted again super quick...lol
I just have one worry, I hope my precious daughter doesn't have fun with my stash whilst I am away. She is away in Cyprus at present, but she will be home by the time I go away. Please watch for any posts from her and tell her to keep off my goodies (Craftingfever) She can use my stamps but she had better keep her hands off my Papers and Copics :0  only kidding Panda, you know mummy will share...worry! worry!

Well enough Waffling from me I had to find time to make my card for the Sugar Bowl Kiki's Sketch challenge, I just hate missing this challenge so here it is, I hope if I was lucky enough to win someone will tell them I will be back within a day or two...lol  Just imagine losing a 4 Sugar Nellie stamps prize...YIKES! doesn't bear thinking off...lol   not that I expect to win but who knows. This time its a  Fab Sketch by Kiki and optional theme is Autumn. I thought these lovely papers that I bought at Harrowgate show would be perfect.The papers are Prima/Fairy Flora and I love every one in the pad, I wish I had bought two lots now   : (

and here is the insert.. by the way the brad on the front is burnt orange..not pink, very strange how the camera has kept the eyelets colour correct and not the brad!!

Well another one nearer our Golden, Its our 47th Wedding Anniversary today, how the years have flown! I can't believe how fast they have gone its frightening ..Gulp!  We had our first date on the 24th Sept 1959 so we have actually know each other 52yrs.............................................. and two days...lol must not forget those two days :))

Well here is the card I made for Den, I have to say I was well pleased with it, it turned out better than I expected.

 We are now off to town, he said he wants to surprise me...whoo hoo what can it be. I already got my pressy 6wks ago a beautiful eternity ring. (I bought him a black onyx ring too) I had an eternity ring many years ago but it needed repair and it wasn't worth the cost of repair. This is different :o it is more than I ever dreamed of. Well here is my card for my one and only love and best friend,  oh! what a load of mush eh!!...lol

Farewell for a little while & A Smile

Just a tiny post before I go off to my bed, Just wanted to say I will not be able to call on your Blogs for a few days as going off to Newquay :)) I will catch up with you all next weekend, so be good and don't be having parties without me will you.

A six yr old little girl was watching her mother desperately trying to get Ketchup out of the bottle when the phone rang. the little girl picked it up, the person on the other end asked if mummy or daddy was available. The mother looked aghast as the little girl replied..."No sorry my daddy is at work, and my mummy is Hitting the bottle"......lol

OK I give in!!!!!

Good Morning all, Well I have had to submit to getting on with Christmas cards, I cannnot believe I am making Christmas cards in September...lol What will I do in Nov/Dec.! but I just could not resist inking up my lovely Sugar Nellie candy from Elaine. Isn't this image so sweet and snuggly,it reminds me of the little birds that used to sunbathe on my big bulldog's back, she used to just turn her head as much as to say "ok but sit still I want to sleep" awww!! I love it xx

I have followered the Challenge Sketch and used my scraps so I think its not too bad really. I added a Chipboard Snowflake with a little sparkle added. I think the only thing I don't like is the sentiment, I am not into these printed pre-made ones or whatever you call them but I thought the colour was perfect so its on. 

The insert still needs a white bit with a verse, will do this at a later date. Well must dash as I am going shopping for odd bits for my little hols, will be away f or a few days next week in sunny Newquay...huh! we hope!!!!!
