This is a First for me!!!

Morning all,
I have scheduled this so I hope it arrives at the appointed time. I am hoping to have a little sleep in tomorrow...oh! I mean today! I hadn't realised it was 12 25am.
We walked to a near by cove today and by the time we got back we were worn out. Its a 10 mile round trip and we had a little head wind going so we both struggled quite a bit.
It was a nice walk though and we had walked a few Calories off, that is until we had a bag of chips...lol We only had one between us though as we wanted to be half good :o)
Well onto my First ever Christmas card in September, I cannot believe that I have actually made one this early I need about 40 and I never start them till at least mid November. I am one of those people who whinge continually about the shops starting Christmas before Dec....lol
I will be buying pressies in October the way I am going..tut!
Anyway i was inspired to make a start so here is the first,

I will maybe link it to a challenge when I crawl out of bed :)
Not a lot of materials used,
LOTV Nitwits paper for the centre,
Die is Spellbinders..Labels 18

Stamp...unmounted stamp co.  ....I think?
Be around to call later today. xxxxxx
Just noticed the picture has a lot of black marks on the top of card......can't see them on the actual card???? I will sort it  and change the picture ASAP

Love grows....

Good Morning Everyone xx
First, I have added some  Spellbinders D-Lites to my items for sale on the link at the top of my blog. I may be adding a few more bits as this week goes on. I have decided that I have to move some things on that I don't use. Let me know if you are interested.xx
Well onto my card for Mo's Say it with Flowers Challenge.
As I always get lots of flowers  for my anniversary (in 3 days) I thought I would use this image and Enter it into the
"Without Words Happy Anniversary challenge too.

Just realised that I have used the same colours as the previous card I guess I am into Aqua!  I coloured my image with Promarkers and polychroma's, and used the Spellbinders Lattice die for the background. The flower punch was a little papermania one. Sorry the picture seems a bit blurred... or maybe its my eyes.
More catching up with you later today.

Sorry..and update

Hi Everyone, so sorry not been able to blog these last few days, but things have been very hectic here :(  As well as Holly getting home from Hospital and needing baby-sitting whilst my daughter went each day to the stables to see to all the horses...Then we had my Hubby's Birthday yesterday so House full of Visitors all day, What a popular man he is....lol
Had a lovely meal to round the day off  though so that was nice, some quality US time.
Today Its Holly's 18th Birthday and also our eldest Grandson Ben's Birthday so its going to be a very busy day visiting.
A grans work is never done ...lol
Well the update on Holly is she got the Operation over and they have screwed and plated her knee and shortened her Hamstring and wrapped it around the knee it seems. She's still in quite abit of pain and discomfort and  has stayed in her bed for a few days as its so painful to get down the stairs. She is on very heavy pain relief which of course makes her very sleepy too. Her leg is so heavy to move  as its got an enormous Pressure bandage on it and a full length leg brace on top of that.
Anyway Thank you all for your Good Wishes for her, I am off to see her and try and brighten her Birthday as best we can.
Then off to see Ben for His birthday.  :0)

Huge Hugs everyone, be back as soon as I can.xxxxxx

Something to distract....

Hi lovely bloggers, hope everyone is well and hugs to those that need one xx
I am all over the place this morning as My grandaughter has gone into hospital at 12pm today for her knee operation  this afternoon. She has never spent a night in a hospital before so this is her first experience of hospital life :( She was so anxious and couldn't get over the fact it was Friday 13th...lol What a munchkin she is... a big one!! but a munchkin all the same, She is 18 in 4 days time. She certainly won't be celebrating that's for sure, they have told her she will be totally housebound for two weeks and next Feb/March before she is able to ride again. All jumping and dressage has ceased since her injury in January, so its going to be an uphill struggle to get fit again. She is also worried that her job at  Mary Reeveley's (race-horses) stables might be in jeopardy as another girl has been doing Holly's job for her, she so loved it too.

Anyway I thought I would post a card that I did a while back to try and keep myself busy, I used a Hobby House topper and papers which was a candy win from the lovely Debs.
What a gorgeous box of goodies it was too :)....

.......oops!! just had a text to say she is on ward and waiting to go down!!!!! oh this Gran is a wreck....lol
 Back to card......
well off to have a snack and then will do some blog hopping :0)  I have made jam this morning and tidied cupboards so built up an appetite. Catch up with you soon xx

music of Love..

Happy weekend Everyone, Hope you have some sunshine where you are. Ours had decided to hide behind a very dodgy looking cloud :O Guess what! I have just got the last lot of washing hung out....drat!!
Anyway onto my card which I have made last night, Its for the ATCAS ...code Music Challenge the code this time was chosen by  Harriet, already some amazing entries and the DT work is Gorgeous!
Kept mine CAS as required, and cut the heart out on my Cricut and added my own sentiment using Word Art. Not sure I like the shadow on the sentiment, should have chosen a different one, I like the slight swirl on this one though. A double bow using Chiffon Ribbon to round it off.......oh! the Music stamp was from the Papermania Urban set.
Well I think thats about all from me at present as I want to get some of this dry washing ironed if I can, What am I saying!! No I don't want to do it but it needs ironing and as they say Needs must!
Hopefully will catch you later, if Its not bedtime by the time I get finished, at least its cool enough to iron today.

The Autumn years

Hi everyone, hope you have had a lovely day, the sun is glorious here on the N/E coast. This morning brought my 2nd Grandson and his beautiful wife to be, to talk wedding cakes. I now have a rough idea what sort of cake she would like, She has time to decide though so it could be totally different in a few weeks. Its quite a few years (7) since I did Wedding cakes so I hope I am tooo rusty.
Well from Sugarcraft to Papercraft, I wanted to post my card for Mo's  DP2Challenge...Goodbye Summer.

I added a bit of a twist to the challenge, so hope you can recognize where I am coming from....ha-ha.  I was thinking about our forthcoming Wedding anniversary later this month and as I guess we are in our Autumn years now this was my take on Goodbye Summer. I hope it qualifies for the challenge.
Off to enjoy my tea and then I will be back to pay some blog visits.
