Morning all,
I have scheduled this so I hope it arrives at the appointed time. I am hoping to have a little sleep in tomorrow...oh! I mean today! I hadn't realised it was 12 25am.
We walked to a near by cove today and by the time we got back we were worn out. Its a 10 mile round trip and we had a little head wind going so we both struggled quite a bit.
It was a nice walk though and we had walked a few Calories off, that is until we had a bag of chips...lol We only had one between us though as we wanted to be half good :o)
Well onto my First ever Christmas card in September, I cannot believe that I have actually made one this early I need about 40 and I never start them till at least mid November. I am one of those people who whinge continually about the shops starting Christmas before Dec....lol
I will be buying pressies in October the way I am going..tut!
Anyway i was inspired to make a start so here is the first,
I will maybe link it to a challenge when I crawl out of bed :)
Not a lot of materials used,
LOTV Nitwits paper for the centre,
Die is Spellbinders..Labels 18
Stickles..Star-dust
Stamp...unmounted stamp co. ....I think?
Be around to call later today. xxxxxx

Hey are you up yet Mau!!

What a totally stunning Christmas Card and well done you for getting started. Last year I felt the same and was not pushed into starting before November, but boy I wished I had started earlier, so this year I said I would start late September and I have. I am actually enjoying it, and it has not made me want to buy pressies yet!
Love the sketch and the cut out in the folder, lovely. Dx

Mau, this is a stunning Christmas card - love the glittered edges and the Nestie aperture. The little Doves of Peace are a perfect embellishment. Well done for getting a head-start on your Xmas cards - I will no doubt be at the last minute, as always!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Mau, and congrats on getting those Christmas cards started! Hope you're well, dear friend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Mau...I love the cut out & lovely paper behind. What machine do you use to cut your dies with? Your card looks like it is 6x6...my cuttlebug wouldn't handle that size. Thanks for your visit to my blog & your lovely comments. Saw the eye dr. today & things have healed up nicely. Need the other eye done in the future & it is a bigger procedure because as well as the little growth there is also a cyst on it....fun!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Renee
