First for Raffia..

Well here is this weeks attempt at the Less is More Sketch Challenge, I have used Raffia for the very first time on a card...just because I loved the colours and they sort of fell into my shopping basket :) I was only looking at them really but ...well you know how it is xx

I think the colours made me think of Palm Sunday and as I need some Easter cards making quickly, I decided to sort with this. Hope it fits the bill. I have actually made another couple of cards for this sketch so I may enter those too. I really need to get to grips with this challenge as as I find them so difficult.. but like them at the same time....lol

will manage to visit some Blogs after tea I hope.

Mina & Phil 35th Anniversary Candy

Phil and Mina are celebrating their 35th Wedding Anniversary and just look at the Lush Candy she is giving away xx For every hundred entries she is also adding a little extra to it too.... she is one very generous Lady and a Lovely one too, so pop over and wish them a Happy Anniversary. Todays Challenges card

Well had a nice day free to craft today but its been one of those days that I don't seem to have done much at all. I have however made this card for some of my favourite challenges so here it is. I am entering it into the following challenges......

Well no wonder they call them Challenges...... Not only is CAS out of my Comfort zone but... Now Chrissie and Mandi want a MANS card. Do they realise what they are asking of me....lol
I think this may have to be for my SIL in June... if not it would mean I had to make another mans card, and that would be the end of me :( I really need to get to grips with masculine cards as I freeze whenever I think of them. I do know that my SIL would not be pleased with ribbons, bows and flowers which is a shame...ha-ha
Anyway here is my entry for Less is More Masculine Challenge I will keep coming back girls ..you won't frighten me off :)) :)) Hugs Mau xx

Wow! Spring has Sprung : )

What a Gorgeous day! in fact what a gorgeous week, I really think Spring is here ladies. Doesn't it give you that feel good factor :)
I have however struggled with a very painful leg since Monday.. what I did I have no idea! I thought I had twisted my knee as I often do.. (its dodgy from an old injury) but this was the muscle area down the inside of the knee and I have not been able to walk for pain, or even lift my toes off the floor : ( moans over...lol

Now to better things.. Crafting, This is a card I have made for Create Colour Challenge greens/Browns etc Love green so this was a joy to create... that really is corny as You will see the Beautiful Image is Joy, I adore these images and can't wait to have them all.

I bought my first ever Copic markers at Harrowgate show on saturday and this is my first effort with them so hints and tips will be gratefully accepted. I think I need lots of practice!! I noticed I did forget to pink her lips :0 and I think she is a bit ROSY....lol

the quickest post ever.... & update

Hi everyone, so sorry this has to be quicker than quick, I need to be out in the next ten minutes. I hope to be able to upload my entry for Less is More..off the edge challenge but I am so slow at doing things its debatable as to if I manage before my bus comes..... Whew!!
I will be back later in day to catch up and tell you about the fun making this card.... if thats what I call 5 attempts.....lol Isn't it dreadful when you are determined to use a particular thing...in this case these stamps, but I made a hash of all attemps so this is the better one believe it or not..... titter titter. sorry picture isn't very good and my blowing leaves aren't really clear...typical :(

One week today : ))

Well this time next week I will be with my lovely friend Irene At Harrowgate show, I have saved some pennies up and can't wait to get amongst all that lovely stash ...let me loose ...Whooo!

This Saturday however I am crafting... alone as Amanda has left for America :(

Here is my card today for Stampin Sisters In Christ, This week it was stamped flowers, I will be honest I struggled to find a flower stamp that I liked amongst my stamps ....reminder to myself when I go to Harrowgate :) I must look for some nice flower stamps.

Last time for 5 weeks :(

Hi Everyone,

Well been to say farewell to eldest daughter this morning as she will be off to USA tomorrow for five weeks or so. They are travelling from Daytona to Los Angeles, But have set up a Blog so I will be able to keep tabs on them........ well I am her mum after all. I need to check and make sure she isn't up to mischief...lol Oh! We are going to miss her dreadfully :(

So onto Crafting matters,

I have made the following card to enter into Less is More Pastel Challenge, It is quite lemon in real life but I am afraid it keeps wanting to come out more Mustard than it really is on photo's

I have to admit to being very pleased with it... I have always loved the CAS look and hope this is not toooooooo full to qualify.

I added the insert but have not added a Sentiment yet.

I may get chance to finish another for this challenge as I love to break away from my comfort zone now and again, Or I may go Blog hopping as there is some wonderful inspiration from everyone.

Here I am again..

I thought I had better post my card before it gets any later, Got the Monday shopping out of the way, and had quick coffeee with daughter. I have no idea what we are going to do without her when she goes to USA for 5 weeks :( we normally see her at least every other day so it will seem a lifetime without her. Our younger daughter will have to find more time for coffee than usual....lol

Well here is my Card, Spotty paper from Papermania "Summer Bloom"

Check paper from back to Basics, matted on Doily, I coloured Image with Promarkers, and added My favourite flowers from Wild Orchid which I added pearls to. I loved making this card as I adore all three of these Blogs, They are after all at the top of my list for favourite stash...Promarkers, Magnolia and Wild Orchid flowers. I am rather addicted to all three...lol

Sunshine again!!

Well another Lovely sunny bright day, its very cold today though, much colder than yesterday!

We had a Super day yesterday and walked round the coast, to Saltburn...used to be a small smugglers cove, quite a busy little place these days, all in all did about 6miles. It was beautiful and we stopped and had a little picnic when we got there ...Coffee and Bacon Sarnies and watched the surfers. A Good day had by both. The first pic is about half way as we reach Marske.. it's Cliffe House now Trust appartments

Todays Recipe....lol

Well thought I was clean out of time this week, but when you want to do something badly enough you nearly always manage to squeeze it in don't you..... especially if its Crafting...lol
I have got to the last few hours ...again for Less is More Recipe Challenge.. BUT.. I am here, I really did want to join the challenge so here it is. Not Sure I am happy with wording..Not a lover of Shortened words but struggled to find what I wanted.
I am also entering this into Stampin Sisters in Christ The Scripture is based on Psalm 9v10 and Rebekka talks about God being our every need... We can trust him in all things. I thought of him being our Creator and Maker, and thought my Baby card was very fitting...... We had to include at least 3 buttons.

Tilda Goes Fruity

Just a quick post today as I am off to the shops shortly...how boring is that!

I wanted to post my card for Totally Tilda Challenge this week its Fruity Tilda and had to have at least one peice of fruit on.... "Anyone for a Cherry"...lol

The second Challenge I am entering it into is Colour Create 3 Fruit colours from the picture shown,,, I chose Coconut, Kiwi, and Cherry....also Apple as a bonus.. dressed Tilda in green ..lol

I thought the Green dotty paper almost looked like Kiwi with its seeds.

I am not sure if my Cherry blossom was a good choice but...I had to add flowers or I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight :)

I am also entering into Papertake weekly Challenge which is anything goes with an added something old. This is my Red Braid as it came off a Gift Box about 2yrs ago..lol xx
