Love was certainly in the Air!!!

Well at last I am back after sneaking a week off for Easter Break, only had a couple of Days out but really have enjoyed the break, and feel a little refreshed and eager to craft again and catch up.Well Love really has been in the Air today has it not. What a lovely Royal Wedding, Here's to as many Years together as the Queen has enjoyed. I wish them all the happiness in the World....I am a sucker for Love and Romance :)) Well on that theme ...here is my Card for LOTV Love is in the Air Challenge, I used Making Memories Paper...well that is the pink paper at the back...does anyone recognise the darker pink one?? I don't seem to have the pack or book and I would love some more of it..it is double sided and has a lovely linen look to it. Well its good to be back with you all and I will blog hop after I have eaten..tea is calling. xx

Another Glorious Day!!

Really do think our summer has started..yippeee!! its another glorious day here on the East coast :) I am going to add the post then I think after a snack its walkies time.Its just too nice to be indoors today ....plus I need the weight off..lol You can see that really was just an afterthought :) but i would really like a few pounds off before my youngest grandsons 18th next month. I think I will be wearing a sack if I don't make a huge effort...at least we have a spare tyre if we need one...lol.
well here is my entry for the LOTV Happy Birthday Challenge just squeezed in as its the last day whew!! Sorry its not too good a picture don't quite know why..maybe just too bright today. I added Sukura Gelly roll to her dress and bow and it just doesn't show :( sorry pic looks a bit flat all together ..doh! Well had a really nice day .. Hubby spoilt me as usual...lol went for some more retail therapy :)
I had to return a M&S top that I had bought the other day so I chose a different one, Then Hubby decided that I should get some new shoes while we were in town so I found my way to Clarkes and came out with a pair of shoes and some sandals, I was well pleased ....then I found a necklace which is really all I went to look for in the first place......lol He really is the bestest hubby in the world, he totally spoils me xx oh!
I forgot to say...he got a new Watering Can :)) lol He is so easily pleased.. Bless him xxxx
Well now to cardmaking my other passion.


This is my Challenge card for Colour Create black/white/Pink I really enjoyed making this card it seemed to fit together without any hassle. I used Velum as a paper and a LOTV image which I think is so sweet. I used Mica pigment brushed over her dress to give it a sheen and used Stickles on her Veil I used my favourite little Flower Corner punch on the edges of the Image card and then matted it onto Black card. I used little pearls on the flowers. I layers the image onto a heart Doiley which I had touched the edge with a Promarker to match Ribbon Bow. Decorated the insert to match front of card and added Sentiment.
Well off to do another card if I can as I want to enter LOTV Challenge and it ends tomorrow so need to get my skates on. I will visit as many blogs as I can later tonight. Bye For now Mau xx

Caught a Bug .......

No!!!! not me Tilda ....lol Quite a simple little card today as I am needing to get my Mojo working big time, I am beginning to think it might be me thats caught a bug after all. feeling very under parr at present, I need to get my finger out and get myself motivated. I want to craft...I want to go out in the sun...I want to ...........dare I even say the word do some h****w**K ...lol My house so needs some decorating but I dread starting as my Hubby is so fussy and won't do one job without another dozen he says are part of the same job ...like I want to decorate the bathroom...he wants a new suite in it and all that entails. I think I will just craft after all, is much less stressful :)) So to my card which I made for two challenges. This is my little handmade flower to comply with PFP challenge to make our own embellishment, and My Ladybirds are for spoonful of Sugar. Sorry to say my flower was such a good match in colour last night, I guess the light wasn't as good as I thought, but it looks much nearer the colour than the pic shows ... :( Will be back later in the day and try and catch up with all your blogs. Sorry I have been missing alot this week as lots of little things just confused the whole week, nothing major just silly little hic-ups and on top of all that I have had a troublesome headache every day for 5 days...think its time for new eye test :( ....maybe thats why my flower wasn't the correct colour.......lol

Good Morning!!

I am off for some retail therapy when we have have had this coffee. I think a new skirt and top are in order. I saw them on a day out the other day but was not in a shopping/trying on mood as we had gone to have a lazy day at the coast..... yep! ..left our coast to travel 50mile further up the coast ..lol Anyway we decided that a day out this week to shop was in order so off we go :) First I want to post a card that I made yesterday, I made two..wowee! I have to admit to feeling a bit out of tune lately, I think I am now missing my daughter. She will be home on Wed. Night though so I will get all those hugs that we have been saving up :)) My 2nd daughter is such a busy busy girl that we need to arrange a coffee day well in advance...lol As I don't see her half as much as Amanda I am feeling a little childless at present :( Well here is my card, I made it just for the joy of it, so haven't found a challenge for it. I love this image, I think Connie is so sweet, so really enjoyed colouring her. Catch you all later xx Mau xx

Sunsets..

Morning Everyone, well here I am again a glutton for punishment as they say...lol I have attempted another Less is More Challenge card, as lots of you will know it's "A touch of Red" Well I decided to be really brave and try my new Air Brushing with my Promarkers..yikes!! I got it for Christmas and it keeps winking at me everytime I open my Craft cupboard. I used a Lovely Clarity Stamp that I bought at Harrogate a few weeks ago. Well here it is ..my first effort, I must admit to being quite happy with my first attempt although I realise that I need to practice a lot more. It certainly isn't as easy to control as my Paintbrushes and watercolours.. it can have a will of its own...lol Sorry my pictures aren't wonderful lately..too bright in Conservatory and not bright enough in the Lounge...wonder if the smallest room will work better..lol Thank you for calling by I will catch up on lots of blogs when I get back from Shopping its all go here with Hubby being unwell, My dishwasher is out of action :( It was bad enough when the Electric one broke down a few weeks ago. Sweet treat Tilda

Hi everyone, well its been another Crafty day as Hubby is poorly with a chest infection, so good excuse to play and keep the house quiet, well apart from the racking cough that keeps thundering through it ... He is on Antibiotics so hopefully he will feel better soon :)

I cut the image out with a nestie and coloured her with promarkers, added a little pink stickles to my Icing, added some candy to the corners. Thank you for calling by today catch up later xx

Spring I mean.. I really thought we had it on our doorsteps..but it changes every day. Today we have very strong winds again, forecast to reach 50mls an hour, I really struggle in the wind with Angina, so it may have to be a day crafting again....oh! life is so hard....lol

Today card has certainly got spring in the air, I thought I would bring you a little Sunshine and this was the outcome. I used old papers from my Stash..don't know what make sorry. My favourite LOTV Image, isn't she adorable. I coloured her with Promarkers and added a little Stickles to her.I cut the Doilies with a large Multi Shape punch which I bought a few years ago, I think I bought it from Debbie Moore!Added Buttons/ribbon/flower from my Stash, I needed a bug so hope my Dragon Fly charm will count as a bug :) Have a Super day whatever you are doing and stay safe. xxx Mau
