It's a Beautiful Day

Happy Sunny Saturday Everyone..well I hope it is where you are. Its lovely here on the North east coast, The breeze is keeping the temperature down a tad but its beautiful. Amanda is here today as usual, when her hubby is off-shore we get two saturdays "Wasting Paper" as he calls it...lol Well here is the start to my crafty weekend, I just adore Sugar Nellies and really loved the challenge this week as It was a Sketch by Marlene. I am also entering it into a couple more challenges. All the papers are from the Nana's Nursery Stack and the flowers are from my stash, sorry not sure where I bought them. Have to say they are certainly not WO quality so had to jazz them up a bit. Summer was coloured with Promarkers. I think the Ribbon was from Ribbon Girls, not sure as it was a gift. Well have a lovey weekend and hope the sun is shining where you are. Take Care Everyone xx

Hi everyone, Hope you are all well x I have an extra treat tonight as Amanda my daughter and grandson Christopher arrived this afternoon and stayed for tea. I am now crafting with Amanda whilst Chris put the world to rights with his grandad :) Chris has had an Interview today for an Apprenticeship So we are keeping everything crossed for him.
Well here is my card which I am entering into TeddyBo Challenge... Bling it on, I coloured him with Promarkers and added Sakura Gelly roll Clear star pen to his Guitar and head gear, Some Very shinyPapermania Gem stars and some Glitter to the edge of the card....lol Hope that was enough Bling for the challenge, :)) This is the first time I have entered TeddyBo but just had to try my new images out. What a Cute little chappie he is! I added some fringes to the edge of the card as I thought this was more suited to it than Ribbon. Will be around later to see your Creations, Take Care xx

It's My Party!

Happy Fathers Day to all your wonderful Dads, I hope you spoil them lots today as they really do deserve a little spoiling don't they. I wish I had my dad to spoil :(
Den has had a nice day up to now, Amanda bought him some little bottles of Ale which he likes last night and some Choccy so he is made up for the day He will enjoy one of his bottles tonight, he just need a good Roman Gladiator film on now and he will be made....lol he is so easily pleased xx Well you may have noticed that I have been MIA a little this week, i have tried my best to blog hop a little but my MOJO has certainly been missing big time. We have also had a couple of Big shopping days out as Den has been renewing all the shirts in his wardrobe, We have been so tired every night that I haven't had the energy to do anything, My feet have been so swollen I just wanted to sit with them up.

Enough of Enough, Now to my first card in a week, Hopefully my Mojo is on its way home as I really had fun with this card and I hate missing LOTV Challenge
It's not My Party but when I asked daughter Amanda what Song this little madam would bring to mind she didn't hesitate and said "Its MY Party and I'll cry if I want too"....lol So that was my Song sorted for LOTV Bring on the Music Challenge. I did enjoy this card, I used my lovely Paper Cellar Papers which I got in Claires Candy.

Happy weekend everyone, hope its a bit warmer where you are, as its cold, dull and raining here on the North East coast. A perfect day to craft with my daughter :)) We have more mess on this table than you can possibly imagine...lol How we ever find anything is a miracle, of course she makes much more mess than I do : 0 Before I attempt any more cards I wanted to post this one that I made yesterday, Quite a Simple layout but Loved making this card and was very happy with its clean look. I won this little LOTV cutie in my Blog Candy fron CraftyC (Claire) and I have been so eager to get him inked up and use him. I wasn't sure how to colour him so I used Polychromas this time ... I think I need some more practice with him though. I also tried my first ever Sky background with TH Distressed ink, Thanks to Bev for her tutorial on this. This was my 4th attempt however...lol and I am far from happy with it but was climbing up the wall by this time. The heart Flower I made as I thought maybe the card would look better with a simple handmade flower than anything too girly pretty if you know what I mean!Does that make sense when its a pink girly card...lol I am entering the card into a few Challenges and then off to get all inky and sticky with Amanda. Very Patriotic....lol

Good Afternoon everyone, I don't know what happened to the morning but it vanished before I had time to blink.I was going to do that dreaded ironing, but here I am with very little done at all. I think its now time for a walk, must keep the exercise up or the diet will be totally doomed. The eating plan is struggling so its only the exercise thats propping it up....lol Our Diet is so good on the whole but then I have a choccy biscuit with milky coffee ..(But Skimmed milk) but I think maybe the choccy bit isn't working too good :((
Well onto my card today, it for the Totally Tilda Red,White and Blue Challenge, As I said very patriotic, What fab colours to work with though. I struggled to find any papers especially red ones, but I was determined to enter the challenge so decided it had to be textured cardstock instead. The Ribbon I bought ages ago and wasn't sure what I would ever use it on but it was perfect for this. I actually enjoyed making this card although I don't think its as good as i had hoped it would be, but hey! so what, its having fun that matters. I think it when you do things out of your comfort zone that it makes it a Challenge in the true sense. Anyway here it is... and sorry just noticed my little charm decided to try and sail away when I took my photo... must be Royalty on board, dodging the papparazzi.....lol

Hope I find you all well, I haven't got a great lot of crafting done this weekend :( sat at the work table but nothing much happened..lol well apart from knocking a cup of tea all over and had to strip the lot off and wipe tools etc. and throw odds bits away that were spoilt..doh! fortunately not lost too much and it will teach me to drink the tea before I craft and not at the same time. Just got that sorted and my eldest Grandson called in so we took him out for a meal..saved me cooking Sunday Lunch and as Amanda is away this weekend he couldn't call on his mum for grub. You see Grans are useful for somethings, I must admit all our Grandsons call on us, we can't say they neglect us, bless them. Well off to see heart Nurse now for our blood results etc. we got our Cholestrol results the other day and I was well pleased..mine 3.4 and Den's 2.8 so our diet must be Ok :) Think mines up a bit from 3.2 last time but still good, Mind you if I was to win Christine's (Nanaseaside) Rock Candy it could be a bit dodgy! Well enough of dribble, here is my one and only creation I managed to do. I am entering it into the New TOMIC challenge which it Happy Birthday" as its Paulines Birthday, Have a great birthday Pauline xx Why don't you call over and see the lovely DT creations on The Official Magnolia site. Where did it go!!!!!

The sun I mean! It was so hot yesterday We had the patio doors stood wide open till 9-45pm :0 and today it can only be classed as cold..dull anda little windy. Will we ever get to grips with this English weather....lol. Hope its better where you are, and if not, well we can always craft....again. I really can't find a thing wrong about that idea, can you :)) As I am writing this..I can hear the two resident Blackbirds tapping on my conservatory doors...cheeky monkeys they are. Male and his wifey come on the hour for their sultana's. The male came all last summer as a young bird and it seems he has found a Mrs. this year and taught her his tricks very well, she will eat out of your hand no problem after only a few weeks. Trouble is they knock us up on a morning by tapping on the bedroom window.....lol Well enough waffle onto my card, I may get back with another later today if I knuckle down. I do have a few stamps to list on ebay though so I will do that and get it out of the way before I craft. I am entering this card into I Love promarkers which is Sparkly Bling, sadly my picture hasn't really shown up the Sparkly Spotty paper very good and my flower has got Stickles diamond sparkle on it.
