Sunglasses at the ready ....

Well I think you may need sunglasses for my card today, but sadly I think it may be different for the weather. It has been lovely here today mind you...till I put my washing out :0    so you can blame me if your weather changed about 2pm today. Why does it change everytime I clean windows or hang washing out! I think the weather fairy waits round the corner just for me... lol

Well onto my Sunbright card :)

WOW!!! I have never worked with these colours before..well not all at once, so it really was a huge challenge for me. I had a good chuckle to myself when I was putting it together as the colours were so bright and out of my comfort zone. However thats what a Challenge is surely.  The flowers I bought at the Craft show last week, aren't they sweet! I want to try and make some as soon as I get time.
Right are you ready ...shade your eyes ....

           and the insert is as bright.....lol

DT Card for MAWTT

How fast do these weeks go!  We are at Thursday again and a brand new Challenge at .....

                     Moving along with the times.

What an amazing selection of Entries we had last week for our Shabby Chic/Vintage challenge, thank you to everyone who took part. I didn't envy Sue having to choose winners.

Now lots of you who know me will know I never make a Christmas card till at least the last week in Nov. ....lol  so this will go down in history. I had to search out what I had and thankfully I did find a flower and as we got these fab images to work with so the day was saved ..whew!!! and this was the result. I guess I will have to go and find my Christmas box of stash out the loft before I am caught out again.

A nightingale sang...

Hi Bloggers, I hope you have more sunshine than we have on the NE coast, it was out earlier but now looks like rain is on the way :(  Oh dear me! I get so sick of having to stay warm and craft all day ..I think not...lol
 Onto my card which is for Mo's challenge here I had so much trouble with this card you wouldn't believe! 4 in the bin and I haven't a clue what this one is about really,
 But the challenge is spots and thats what it has, ..lol
 My brain seems to be seriously lacking in inspiration at present, I need an infusion of whatever it is you have. 
I really think I had problems because I didn't have any suitable images that i could use with spots, hmmm!! so I will be sorting that within the next hour, here i come again Mo :))
I have used "Tramp" because I hadn't coloured him before, He reminds me of Fred Astaire  singing in the rain..lol

                              

well thats me for now as I need to go to the shops, i will be back to blog hop later and see what you have all been up too :) I will pinch all your inspiration...so be warned!! then comes the problem of getting it from my head to my cards :0

My DT card for a Brand New MAWTT Challenge

Morning Everyone, I don't know about you but I don't know where the weeks go! Here we are at Thursday again and a Brand New challenge at "Moving Along with the Times, and what a Fabulous Challenge we have for you.
Our lovely Sue would like to see Shabby Chic/Vintage. So it can be either or a touch of both. I have to say this was my First attempt too, so don't be afraid to join in and try something new if you have never done Shabby before.
 I am not sure I have totally cracked it, but I had fun and thats what Crafting is all about.

Well onto my card, and as I have already told you this was my first ever attempt at Shabby Chic and not altogether sure it was shabby enough ...lol so come on and inspire me!
Recipe .....I made my Rose from gauze (bandage)..tee hee!  postcard stamps were Papermania Urban
 added text to the postcards from the same stamp range.
My paper was daughters, will ask her details of that.

Hope you have had a Happy Easter Day Everyone, We have  had our daughter here for lunch as our Grandsons are all about their own activities today and with Hubby offshore she was on her lonesome :(
 Its quite funny really to see her dad watching at the window for her as soon as she says she is coming. Its like watching a pigeon fancier looking for his returning pigeons....lol

Anyway  to my card, I have decided my card will go to my friend who lost her hubby as I like to keep sending her a card every few weeks, to let her know she is always in my thoughts. 
I love this image from Mo's Digital Pencil as its called "There for You" and is really useful, for friends, Siblings, or Mums & Daughters, I think I will get lots of use from it :)) 

I will be back hopefully later to do a little blog hopping.

New Challenge over at MAWTT

Morning, Hope you are all ok and that the snow hasn't caused too much hassle for you. We have escaped it so far :))

 Well todays post is to announce our brand new challenge

This was my card, I chose to use Kenny K's "Mae Western"
 The paper was in fact a double sided Christmas paper and I sadly no longer have the packaging :(  I just thought the Checks were in keeping with the image somehow. The star was a real bargain...I found it walking to town last year...lol

The first dance ...

Evening Everybody peeps,
What on earth has happened to the weather? It really has been winter here. Raining when I got up and still raining and so cold, the heating has never been off today :(
still I am very grateful we have no Snow, well not yet!
I have played all day apart from cooking a meal at teatime, so I am now about dried up and lacking anymore mojo. I have to say my mojo is very thin on the ground lately :(    I will be around to look for inspiration shortly.

Well for now I will show you my card that I made to enter into Mo's Digital Pencil "Inspiration" Challenge, It was such a pretty picture and so decided I would turn it into a wedding card. The Image is called Bride & Groom Dancing and can be bought here 

I have used the same papers to dress the insert, it just needs a sentiment adding now.
