Chillin out!

Good Morning everyone, hope the sun is shining where you are. We woke to a glorious morning, but they say rain is due later :(  so going to talk to town while the sun is still about.

 First I wanted to enter my card  for this weeks challenge over at Mo's DP2  

You all must realise by now how much I love Mo's fabulous images...lol   anyway this week it was masculine so not so good but hey! this is what I came up with. The image makes me think of all the lovely colours and rustling of the Autumn leaves, I love this time of year.....good job really as I think summer might have gone astray .....lol 

 Well off to town and will get to call on some blogs as soon as I get back.

Just what I need!

The sun is shining and it feels like Summer has arrived :)
 I could just do with a sit in the Park which leads me to my quick post today.
The challenge over at Mo's digital is "In the Park" so this is the card I want to enter. Its the last day to enter, I know  chasing my tail as always...lol   Had a rough week health wise, and so decided on one of the better days I would make my card. I have missed the challenge for the past few weeks and was determined that I wouldn't miss it again this week. Well in by the skin of my teeth because I made a card took pics and wrote my post...went over to mo's to link it up and realised I had made a Beach scene card ...doh!
Now even I know that the beach is not quite the same as the Park, so off I went again to make another card. In my state of health and confusion I promptly deleted my post in disgust with myself......................Why! you ask??? why not leave it on and enter it in other challenges!  Well I asked myself the same question ...after I had deleted it ....lol  I really think I am losing my marbles some days   :~
Anyway here's the second attempt before its too late to enter.

 Sorry the picture isn't wonderful, its so bright I can't find a suitable spot to take it today,  (not complaining)

Celebration coming up!

New kid on the block

Well at last!
 Here I am with my card that I wanted to post yesterday, I tried all day  but everything and anything took up the day. I made it for a new baby boy that was born on Tuesday to a very young couple over the road. Baby Harry arrived very quickly for a first baby, The couple were out gardening on Monday teatime. As we went out on Tuesday we hadn't noticed them missing, then on Wednesday Morning at 11am they were pushing baby out in his pram....lol It appears that on Tues. she went in hospital, 6hrs in and home same evening and up and out for a walk next morning :O  A bit different to my day...lol
 Baby Harry is adorable and at 8lb-4oz  he was a brilliant size for his  tiny 7st mum
 Anyway enough waffle, here's his card.

Well thats all for now, but will try and link it to some challenges as soon as dinner is dished up and my stomach is satisfied as the yummy smell is killing me.

A New challenge at MAWTT

Morning everyone, I have two things to share with you today as
here we are at Thursday once again, and a brand new challenge at Moving along with the times First let me say well done to all the winners of last weeks Cool Britannia Challenge. We were astounded at the wonderful creations.If you haven't seen the winners then pop over and see if you were one of them :)

Over to my second part of the post..

This is my contribution....I decided I would make a Mini notice board, This was something I saw on Birds Cards blog and thought it was a great idea, I used Paper instead of fabric too. I used ribbon and small matching paperclips from my stash. I matted the board onto a piece of card that I had punched with a MS punch.

I made this a week ago in preparation for the challenge

and this was my finished project..... as it was after all Anything but a card Challenge...hmmm!!!

Now to own up as to what I have done with it since then....  :o as I looked at it for a few days, I came up with this idea.

Even though its to hang on a wall by its dog clip it holds a secret.

I decided to mount the whole thing onto a wallet card to hold extra notelets for the board :) hope I am not going to get my hands slapped for this, oh dear!!! I hope Lisa only looks at the first picture :0
