I remember it well

Hi Lovely Bloggers, Sorry I have been missing..bet you never noticed....lol
I have tried to leave a few comments over the past week or more, but crafting went on hold I am afraid. We seem as though we have never been in,  and to add to that I think my Mojo went on a long ....long walk :(   I think I had so much hassle with the lappy that I was totally fed up with it by the time I found the simple cure, Thanks to all you lovely bloggers. A special thanks to Viv letting me pester you by email for advice, you are a Gem.
Anyway I am back and yesterday was a craft day with my daughter Amanda and I decided to make a card for two challenges which I love to enter. They both want Bling so that's good, thanks girls for making my life a bit easier this week :)

   I so remember my two girls dressing up, I even remember me wearing heels that high..oh! those were the days, even the first rung of a ladder makes me dizzy these days.....lol The image is of course a gorgeous cutie from Mo's digital. I cut her out and mounted her on foam pads, I struggled to cut around her bag handles and have noticed you can't even tell because of the white drawer...lol could have saved the hassle.
 Well I am off to the nurseries shortly for coffee and scone..and a peek at the craft section of course....tee hee.

Little pink number

Hi lovely bloggers, oh! how I am missing you all : ( I have had a few minutes here and there on hubby's laptop but I am still struggling with mine...grrr! It will let me do anything on it ..until I get on my blog, then it won't open things and it won't shut them. If I get my comment box open then it won't let me scroll down to read them...takes approx 5 mins to load it up. I get to click on someone blog eventually and then I can't close it again. Its driving me nuts now as I have had every Mal ware...etc. on it and its as clean as a whistle, I have also removed all my pics etc. off it so the memory is super fine. We have spent every day for two weeks on the Stupid,daft,idiot of a thing and to no avail......can you tell I am mad!!! Awaiting some help ...then its in the bin if no joy.
Well I am on Den's lappy yet again to load this card and then its coffee time :)
This is one of a couple I have played with over the past week, its rather simple but its perfect for who I want it for. Hope it fits the Valentine challenge over at In the Pink..Pink Valentine. I know its not exactly a valentine card in my case but ....it could be, couldn't it...lol

here is a second one that I took, my photography has a lot to be desired I know.

 

  Plus the card is so pale I found it quite difficult to photograph it. I embossed the background panel then added a window panel that I bought at Harrowgate show last Oct. I inked it and added my lovely Vivienne Butterfly (Memory Box) The Love sentiment was cut on my Cricut.

I added some Mica colour to my butterfly and them embossed it with some Crystal embossing powder but  sorry it doesn't show well on the picture.

Well that's all for now but I will try and post another card that I have played around with later today.

Pink Valentine

Just a very quick post I am afraid, My laptop is still very sick and so I am trying to borrow hubby's but It works a little different to mine so between waiting for it when he is finished on it and then trying to find things on it its taking forever. On top of that as soon as he comes off it and I go on...he takes to playing his accordion to pass the time..I can't hear myself think.....lol  I think I am stressed out and fed up of the daft thing this week, felt like giving it to the Scrap man this morning when he passed the gate.
Anyway here is my card for In The Pink Valentine Challenge  and Mo's Digital ..Anything goes  before its too late to enter, I have made two cards for In the Pink, but I will have to see if I can get them both posted if not this will have to be it till I get my own lappy sorted.

My own laptop is sick..

Just a quick call to say Sorry for not being around to visit my lovely peeps. My lappy is playing up BIG time, I wait forever for it to open everything up then it takes as long to close things.
I have borrowed hubby's to post this but i need to get my own sorted. I think I will need a doctor in to have a look as we are not Savvy enough to anything further with it. We have been messing on for about 5 days now and we have run out of ideas. cleaned, defragged, virus checks, malware checks.
Anyway I will catch up as soon as possible, untill then I send you all heaps of love and hugs for those that need them.
 

Less is more ...

How hard can LIM be....I have spent longer thinking about this card than if I had put 4 papers and 10 embellies on it....lol
Well I promised myself this year that I was trying all the things that don't come natural to me regarding my cardmaking and also to try lots of new techniques so here I go :O
 The challenge at Less is More 104 is a sketch..it must be kept to the sketch and not switched around so here is my entry.

I found taking a picture this morning difficult as the sun was so bright and the white was coming out blue!

Sure to need this .....

Hi lovely Bloggers, Well I am into a thousand things this week so I am trying to be very practical.. :~ I wanted to join a couple of favourite challenges so came up with this ..hopefully it will fit into both. In the Pink is Distressed..yikes!! I don't do distressed very good at all. Mo's the DP2 challenge is embossing, any type of embossing you like. So here is my attempt, I hope my distressing on my embossed dots are enough for In the Pink.
I am also entering it into Crafty Cardmakers..belated birthday

I am disgusted with my colouring..but thats another story! all I will say is it was my third attempt....then I gave up and blamed the dingy light :o really it was just me and the lack of practice, I haven't coloured a mortal thing since November. My box had nothing left in it coloured so I had to colour, I guess I had better leave the pens out and get some practice in. It doesn't help that my mind is all over the place, I have picked up my family history again (fatal) as I have boxes of info and photo's and if anything happened to me it would be years of history gathering wasted as the family wouldn't know where to start sorting it. I have info and photo's of three generations of every child born to the last three generation of grandparents and then very interesting  info back to mid 1600 so its important that i get it sorted.

On top of that I have an urge to get the water colours out again :~ Why do we get these crazy ideas all at the same time!! Saying all this my cards will always come first, all this stash has to be used....lol  I just have too many hobbies I guess.

plus a million card ideas to try yet. I just wish I had the time to do it all, and also get the ideas out of my head and onto the card, that is the hardest bit.

What a Shocker!

Is this pink or what!!  It brings back memories of the 60's and the shocking Pink that we wore....lol Now I am showing my age aren't I

I made it last night as I was bored and yet didn't want to colour : 0 that shows how out of sorts I was with myself....lol  Its very simple, but it satisfied my need to craft without too much effort.

 I am going to enter it into In The Pink Challenge Luscious Lace, I know I hear you saying my last card was for the same challenge, but I thought my Lovely Lace Butterfly might count :) If its not enough then just delete me girls...send me packing as we say :~ I promise not to be upset...lol
