Corner Games

Good Morning everyone, Hope you had a lovely weekend and that you got some sunshine. I have had a funny old weekend :0 I got a message on Saturday morning to say my brother-in-law had passed away. My sister died 3yrs ago and he has been in pretty poor health, for a few years now. However it was quite unexpected as he was in  hospital with a Hernia and on Wednesday the dc. said he thought he had stomach cancer, he died on Friday... These things certainly happen quickly. 
Then the weekend saw Hubby and I being brought home in a break-down truck from Whitby, went for a run out and the brake pipe broke on the car so the AA brought us home...doh! Had to wait two hours for them to get to us. Do you ever get the feeling that you should stay in bed somedays,  but at least the neighbours were entertained as I climbed out backwards from the lorry....lol 
Now  we have decided to get another little job done on the car whilst its in the garage tomorrow.....so I guess we will be paying out ridiculous money again....grrr!! don't they realise money is far better spent in craft shops, at least you can see what you get for it.
Anyway now to my card, I thought I would play with some Spellbinders Corners,  sorry I forgot to jot down the name of them as my daughter bought them at Harrowgate show and cut me some. I saw a card like this on Amazing Paper Grace (Becca's blog) So thought I would try it out. It doesn't come anywhere near Becca's of course :(   There is a link to her blog on my side bar.

Spring has sprung :)

Hi lovely bloggy friends hope the sun is shining where you are, It is glorious here and my chair is out in the garden awaiting my presence. I am going to have an hour knitting,  I will show you my card and link it up and then I am off to enjoy the sun before it vanishes.
My card is quite simple but I am struggling with colouring images at present :( I seem to have lost my mojo for colouring.... I am sure it will return though in its own good time ....lol

sorry about the pics they were all fuzzy yesterday for some reason, must have had a shaky hand ....lol   bit wonky too..oh dear! and that's without a glass of the red stuff...lol

At long last!!!

Good Morning Lovely Bloggers :)
 I have so missed blogging, but had dreadful Neuralgia and felt really out of sorts. I guess I caught cold in my face/head when out on a walk...a right pain in the head its been :~~ dreadful headaches, However things seem to have cleared and I can see straight again which it more than I have been able to do. I couldn't tolerate the PC screen, Had Neuralgia many times before but never as bad as this session.
Now to better things :) I sat and made a card yesterday, and Thought before I go blog hopping that I would share it. Its just to go into the spare box. I might do a craft stall in May to raise funds for the food bank at church (People in the community that are struggling)  
I decided to use one of my favourite colours turquoise, Paper is Nitwits :)  I used Spellbinders Parisian accents die for the sentiment and punched a few flowers, added pearls, Organza bow and pins and there you have it.

 I will try and link it to a couple of challenges shortly, but first I need the Beef in the oven or we will be having Dinner at 7pm instead of  4.30
 Before I go I will show you my Grandsons new addition to his household, isn't he adorable!

I so love Black Labs, he has just had all his jabs so he is now able to go out. This was taken on his first visit to my house a couple of weeks ago, but he couldn't go out for walkies :(

East to handle....

Just a quick post today as really need to get the tea sorted, where did the day go! I popped to town and did some bits of shopping...food again, I am sure Morrisons will go bankrupt if I stop shopping there.....lol How much can two people get through in a week I ask myself.
Anyway onto my little Easter cone, this was just a quick  project as I watched TV the other night, I really wasn't in the mood for a card and so had a little twiddle about with this. 
I will enter it into In the Pink Spring/Easter Challenge

 off to get tea sorted will pop by later to pay some visits.

First let me welcome my new followers Evie who joined me last week and Nixy who joined me this week, I am thrilled that you visited me and decided to stay around :) Please leave a comment Nixy so I can find you :) I couldn't find your blog (if you have one) Well hope everyone is safe and keeping warm at home and not stuck in snow anywhere.xx
Its bitterly cold here on the N/E coast but at least we have no snow..as yet. It is however perfect crafting weather, and so I settled myself down and had a play with some of my new dies.
I used the base die of my Elegant Labels 4 which I bought a fortnight ago, I then cut the centre out with my New Opulent Ovals, I so love these ovals and couldn't wait to play with them. I built the centre up on pads and added some "Dreamies" Flowers plus a few leaves which I cut with Spellbinders foliage dies. The inside border was from my new Spellbinders Parisian Accents Dies. Well as you can see I did manage to use some of my new stash, This is to prove to Viv that I do sometime find time to craft between the shopping trips....lol  I do love shopping though :) That's why I have so much stash that hasn't seen daylight.

Morning everyone, 
 just thought I would post a picture of some of the goodies I bought as a few bloggers have asked me and I had forgot to take a picture before I put them all away ....doh! I think this is the bulk of them! after I had put them away, I sort of forgot what I had bought...conveniently...ha-ha

a few boring bits, but needed I suppose,  I may have missed something off but its all I can think of.

The missing mojo

Morning  everyone, 
Well I am back and hopefully I have found my mojo :)  It was hiding at Harrowgate  show I think. Had a great time and spent far toooo much money ..as always but came home with lots of new goodies. Best of all I met up with some super bloggy friends again. Lost track of time and got to lunch rather late, but still had a good  half  hour before they went off shopping again.  Here is a pic of us all ..except my daughter who was taking the picture.
