Playing with boxes

Hi Everyone, Hope you have had a good weekend, sorry not managed to get around very much as its been a little busy around here. Saturday I spent cooking and baking to top up my sister's freezer to try and encourage her to eat. Still no results from her tests :o(   I think we maybe should start shouting now. She did ask the Diabetic nurse to have a look on the computer to look for any results but she said nothing had come through as yet. She said this scan that she had could take up to 4weeks and possibly even 6weeks.
Anyway she now has lots of nice meals that she can heat up, She was getting ready meals delivered but didn't like them......said the potato was Wallpaper paste.. and the meat had come from a tin.....lol
Well onto my post, This is a little  box that I sat and played with whilst watching Strictly on Saturday night. I was too tired to do anything  much, but enjoyed this. Not faultless I am afraid but I was quite happy.

Well that's it for now, hope I get a craft day tomorrow as got no time at all over the weekend.
Will get to visit very soon.

That time of year...

Good Morning Everyone,
Well here we are with another new challenge over at Mo's. We always get the most amazing entries and I know this week will be no different :o))
This week Mo's Digital challenge is Christmas/WinterOur lovely host is the very talented Franz.
You can choose to do a Christmas creation or just a Wintery theme, the choice is yours.
I decided to make a Criss Cross card as its over a year since I last made one. I actually love them  so not sure why I haven't made one this year. I used the cute "In the manger" image and my papers are BoBunny snowflake collection.

And this is the inside panel......
The verse is a circadesign stamp
not sure it rhymes very good to be honest, do you?....lol
Well that's it for now, but do hope you pay us a visit at Mo's and see what the girls have created to inspire you, and maybe you can leave a little Love as Pat says :o)
Catch up later xx

Dreams!!!!!

Hi everyone, been trying to post this all day but by the time I got my jobs finished my daughter had arrived for lunch and chat :o))
Its Just a quick post to add my card to the ATCAS challenge, I have missed the last couple of these challenges and was determined not to miss another.
The code word this time is Anniversary as the challenge has reached the Grand age of one what could be a better theme, Congratulations and well done Kylie and your fab team.
Lots of lovely prizes to be won so pop over and take part, help make the Anniversary a good one xxxx
Well nothing much to add to this card as I used a cream base card and layered cream onto brown and the image is a Inkilicious stamp and sentiment is from Circadesigns that I bought at Harrowgate show. I stamped in Momento Rich Chocolate.
Be around to catch up shortly. xxxxxxxx

Playing on the jo-anna...

Hi everyone,
Isn't it a good feeling when the weekend is fast approaching.
I am never sure why its any different for me really as when you are retired I guess you can do anything ...any day, But I still look forward to the weekends :o) Hope you enjoy yours and have something nice planned.
I am just popping on with a bit of a fun card that I have made for my Youngest daughter (my baby)...ha-ha she is 45
She took up Piano lessons a month or so ago and as she has only played keyboard and guitar before she  said she needed a Piano to practice...yeh!! well I thought she would buy a nice second hand one. Well I know what thought did, she went JUST to have a look and you guessed came home having bought a brand new one...are piano's that expensive I asked myself ..yes thousands of pounds!! All I can say after the year she's had she deserves it, and she could afford to lay out the money so that's all that matters. I just hope its not a clothes horse in another year....
I made this card just to make her smile, the real thing should arrive in the next day or two, she has been waiting two weeks for it to come into the shop.
I have found a little joke to put inside......
Why was a Piano invented??
So the student had somewhere to stand her "Wicked"

Its brilliant as that's what she drinks...tee hee

Bye for now xxx

Top of the Morning Everyone :o)
Well here we go this Thursday  with a brand new challenge over at Mo's digital Pencil..
As its the first week in the month the theme is Anything Goes
This is a favourite as it allows you to create anything you like and for any occasion.
I have stuck with Christmas for my DT entry as I really need to get myself moving with my Christmas cards and creations.
I love this image called "Gathering Kindle" the link will take you straight to her, Check out Mo's super New images all new to the shop this week...woo hoo!! I think she sneaked them in when my back was turned.
Here is my card, The papers are LOTV and I used Promarkers to colour the sweet image, and my tag is a Memory Box die.
Well that's me for the time being, I will be back to visit some blogs as soon as I make sure Sis is ok and do a few household chores.
Don't forget to pop over to Mo's blog and see what they have created to inspire you this week, don't forget to leave them some love..its a great way to start the day off :o))

Tilda through the looking glass......

Good Morning everyone, Hope you are all well and had a lovely weekend. Sorry I haven't managed to be around but Sister has needed my attention. We are still awaiting her results from camera tests. The throat one was ok, as the doctor came and told her that in the endoscopy unit. The Bowel one (which is the worrying one) we have not heard about yet. I will update you when we hear though as everyone has been so kind to ask about her, Thank you for your good wishes. She continues to lose approx. 4lb every week. She is a shadow of her former self.
Onto my Card, I did play last night and I decided to do something totally different. One difference is its an 8x8 card, two its Tilda! three its not tradition Christmas colours or papers. This is so different to my Christmas cards.
I am not really a lover of Tilda these days it was quite strange me getting the urge to colour her up. I used to like her but went off her many moons ago. However here she is! sat behind a Acetate window in a embossed panel which I then mounted on pads. Tilda was coloured with promarkers and had lots of sparkle added in the way of glamour dust.

Not a very good photo to show the effect of window and sparkle, I took it last night when It was finished and it was rather dark. I may try and take another pic. today and see if it's any better. Truthfully I would love a new camera from Santa...but wonder if I have been good enough...hmm!!!
Will be around to catch up with you all today.
