In Love with Blue

Evening Everyone,  Hope everyone is warm and coping with the snow ...if you got some!!! We have got quite a lot considering we are by the Sea.  I think that's a sure sign of how cold it is, normally the salt air kills it off before it has time to land!
I was hoping to have a nice warm day at home crafting, sadly my sister is in hospital and as she needed lots of messages done and also her house needed sorting out as she went into hospital rather urgently!  I ended up having a  busy day.
I did however make a card last night so I will add it to a couple of challenges.....
My B is Blue..as though you could miss it....lol

CAS Watercolour heart

Good evening everyone,
Just a quick post to add my card to the Watercolour challenge  at http://www.happylittlestampers.com/2018/02/hls-february-watercolour-challenge.html

I thought I would try using the same  Sweet Poppy Stencil that I used to open my blog up with last week! as the optional twist is "Heart" I thought it would be a good one to try. This time I used my Watercolour paints to colour it, I have never joined the watercolour challenge so hopefully it will be ok.
Now I am off to have a little play with Alfie as he wakes up at this time of night :-/  and you get no peace till you play games with him!
Catching up with you all as fast as I can, so will hopefully visit a few more tomorrow. xxxx

T for Tea....or Teal

Here I am again, determined to keep my blog going  ha ha
I would like to enter another card into the Teal challenge over at     http://addictedtocas.blogspot.co.uk/2018/02/addicted-to-cas-challenge-129-teal.html

I hope this time I can get my card to show as I must have made an error  loading the last one onto the challenge  :-(
I love this Tea pot die but haven't a clue what make it is!!!  I had it sent to me a few years back by a lady that doesn't have her  card blog anymore.
Catch you all soon as going to have a crafty session whilst hubby goes to visit a friend. He is taking Alfie so I may get an hour of peace!
Hugs  xxxx

Good Evening

                             Good Evening Everyone,
What a long time since I have blogged!  I tried quite a few times last year to get back into my blogging but sadly life got in the way. My hubby had a terrible 2017 regarding his health and with so many hospital appointments and treatments throughout the whole year! Crafting had to take a back seat. We are hoping 2018 will improve as it moves on as it has not started good for him so far with ongoing health issues.  Last year brought him a Skin cancer, Industrial Lung disease and ended with a heart attack and 2 stents fitted in his previous Heart by-pass grafts, this year already he has had another skin lesion removed  ...we await biopsy results with great anxiety.

Well now to Happier things!  I have re-arranged my crafting space to reclaim my conservatory back as it was full of Craft units and a very shabby looking cane suite. It is now all new and refurbished with new chairs, rug and blinds. We look forward to sitting in there again with our coffee and evening drink like we used to.

In my new craft space I have managed to make a couple of CAS cards which I am going to enter into challenges!
I always enjoyed the CAS challenge so it feels good to get back into it, and my card is for
         http://addictedtocas.blogspot.co.uk/2018/02/addicted-to-cas-challenge-129-teal.html

I love the colour Teal so I really enjoyed making this card, sadly the true colour has not shown very well due to the sun being to bright to photograph it,
I used a Sweet poppy Stencil and Memento Ink  "Teal Zeal"

I do hope I can continue to blog this time! but please stick with me till I see how things work out.  xxxxxxxx

Where does time go!

I can't believe how the time has passed since I posted last, I will hopefully get better at blogging than I am at present!
I hope when I get this weekend out of the way and my visit to the Endoscopy dept. on Saturday things might look up! I will just say I can think of a million better things to do with my weekends!!!  Please pray for good results for me! xx
Well this is a card I made from my favourite Honey Doo stamps, I made it a few weeks ago but couldn't show it as it was for a birthday.  I stamped and embossed in WOW Platinum powder and coloured with promarkers, I also used the Honey Doo matching Die set to cut it out.

Pearls and Peonies...

Hi Everyone,
Hope its better weather where you are, its a horrid wet damp day here for sure!
I am going to have a sugarcraft session shortly but thought I would pop on with a card I made a couple of days ago. I ordered a stamp from my favourite Honey Doo stamps and the second it dropped in my letter box I had to play with it!
Sadly I think my camera is ailing as its taking rubbish pictures lately. Nothing is coming out  the correct colours!!? my creamy white pearls are grey ...yuk!  I think I may be need to invest in a new one.
Well now to do some sugarcrafting, haven't done any at all for past three years so need to polish up on old skills. When I retired from making Wedding Cakes I swore I wouldn't be doing any more! but they keep popping up again. Thankfully this is a little project.
catch you all again soon xxx
