Thanks from the cupfairy

Morning lovely bloggers, hope everyone has had a great  holiday weekendAt least we got some wonderful sunshine, well I hope you did where you live. I actually got a little sunburnt...tut! I am not a lover of sitting in the sun but just pottering in the garden on Saturday was enough to burn me a little.
Anyway onto the thing in hand, My card today has the sweetest Cupfairy from Mo's. I loved colouring her and see she is going to be a favourite with me :) She is so adorable.
I used Memory Box Minuet papers, and the flower you might recognize from a memory box die....I chopped it off....rebel I am!
I cut one white and one turquoise and matted them together.
The frames are Sizzix Fancy labels
.
Well thats it from me for now as I have some shopping to do as my friend is coming for the day tomorrow so need something nice for lunch. Catch up later today.
 Huge Hugs to everyone xx

Patriotic colours...

Afternoon Everyone,
This is a quicky post to show you the card I made for Mo's DP2 red/white & blue challenge this week.
The papers are Papermania  Ahoy There!  and the image is Mo's..(of course) called "Out There" I added a peice of string and a charm from my stash.
I stamped him twice and added his Shirt, Boots and Hat with Silicone glue to add some depth but sadly the picture hasn't shown it up. I coloured him with Polychrome pencils  and a little sansodor for a change.
 Well thats it for now.
Hubby has been busy in the garden this morning and I have been cleaning my kitchen to within an inch of it life and then cleaned all the Conservatory windows
I sorted lunch and now I am off to help him in the garage, His big table saw did a nose dive on him yesterday and he needs help to re-position it etc. So that's my afternoon sorted I guess :0
Catch you all later. xx

Sugar and Spice and ........

All things nice ..thats what Flora is made of.

Hi lovely bloggers, well I hope the weather is better where you are. What a wet cold day it is here, so guess what I am doing :)) yep! crafting it is. I spent the whole of yesterday Ironing for my youngest daughter so today is a play day for me. She certainly had got way behind with her jobs, and now its hospitals and all the stable work to do herself to add to an already busy life style. My grandaughter had just got the all clear a week ago after damaging her Cruciate Ligament and given permission to ride her horse again. Five days later she dismounted and her leg completely went from underneath her and she ended up on the floor. She is now back on Crutches and after her MRI scan on Monday it is almost certain she will need surgery as her Ligament is totally torn and she looks like she has Cartilage damage too. She is in severe pain so hope they get her sorted quickly. Bang goes her show jumping this year :(
Well back to posting my card for today, I thought I would use my new corner die and keep it clean without any papers. I so love Flora from Sugar Nellie and decided she would fit perfectly on this plain background. I coloured her with Promarkers and added a memory Box Butterfly and there you have it.
I added mauve papers to the inside but sadly can't tell you what they are as there is no name on the packet.

Well off to start our tea now, a homemade curry ...yummy yummy!

tweetie pies to the rescue

Good Morning all,
Where has this week gone! I started off with gusto and got some long awaited jobs done in the house..sort of spring cleaning in a way...yuk! cupboards and  curtains..even more yuk! I wish I could win the lottery and have a maid in...lol
It wasn't as bad as it could have been though, as my mojo really did go into hiding..maybe it was telling me to do the housework.....lol
Well my mojo returned on the arrival of some gorgeous Candy from Debs,Especially for You a fab box from Hobby House and I couldn't wait to play :)
I also won a $25 voucher for Whimsy from Joann (Sassy Raggedy)
So you can image the last few days have been real fun and the house jobs have ceased to be noticed.  Nothing like new goodies to bring Mojo out of hiding is there :) Aren't I a lucky girl :))
This is a card I made with my box from Debs, these are pre-coloured images which I have never used but I really enjoy making it, can't wait to make some more.
This was my box ox candy
Will catch up very shortly, just a little ironing to do then maybe get a crafty time in :) See what I can do with my Whimsy goodies. I actually bought lots of Digi's, and I will be back to do some blog hopping to say hi and see what you have been up to. I have missed all your news this week :(

You are my Sunshine :)

Hi folks, hope you have some Sunshine where you are, Its doing its best here but the breeze is so cold. However like the title says You really are my Sunshine, I love to see you and read all your musings as well as seeing the fab creations of course.
Today I have used one of Mo's latest cuties "You are my Sunshine"
I so love her images and this one comes with a text so its a double bonus.

I used the sentiment inside as it was getting too crowded on the front, I think I got carried away a bit....lol  I don't actually like feathers very much and not sure it needed them, but there you have them :0
I think its using some old stash up idea i have at present, the flower is years old the feathers are not much younger and the blue base card came from NoahIt really is a bit of old and new!
Right I am off to pay some calls to you :) Then I think its an hour with the paints, I am having a mixed craft day whilst I can.
See you soon

Negative Grasses

Hi lovely blogger friends, This is a rather quick post as I just wanted to post this card that I made. Its a new stamp I bought just before we went away and I was itching to play with it.
I had a card sent to me from a Do-crafts buddy and friend a couple of years ago  and I have searched for the stamp ever since. I am a very happy bunny now that I have found it, although I am not very happy with my first attempt with it.  It is an inverted stamp  ..I hope that's the correct way to explain it. If you need to know more please mail me and I will try and help.
Sadly I don't think my picture shows it up very good, I embossed it with Copper embossing powder and added a corded ribbon and bow from my stash.

Hugs to all that need them xxxxxxx

Who is this Lady ?

Hi everyone, Hope you have some of this gorgeous sunshine where you are
The unpacking is done and the washing is in, so now time to have a craft :) I have so missed it, you would think I had been away for a month instead of 5 days.
We found a bargain holiday to the Isle of Wight and as we have never been there we loaded the case and off we went. Aren't they the best type of holiday breaks, well I think so!
We were in a hotel within minutes walk from a Beautiful  wedding accessory shop and we just had to pop in and say Hi to the most delightful owner, She is such a lovely lady, it was a delight to meet her in the flesh :)  Guessed yet????
She is the young one on the right...lol
This is Mandi of the "Less is More" Blog
Her shop "Finishing Touches" is Gorgeous! and she said business is good.
The next picture is our hotel....well ok ....... its really Osbourne House which was Queen Victoria & Albert's home, but I can dream...lol  What a wonderful Day we had there, it really is the most amazing place, you can almost hear the 9 children still laughing and playing on the private beach.

                                    Shanklin village

This was the Naughty bit of the holiday.....well among the rest of Clotted cream afternoon teas we had.
I think I need Slimming world next week.
Catching up over the weekend with your blogs.
