A touch of white you might say

Hi everyone, Hope you all ok and ready to enjoy your weekend.
I have been trying to share a couple of cards since Wednesday but have been out both days, yesterday we had a beautiful day out at York (St. Nicholas Christmas fair) it was a lovely day weather wise and we had a super time, spent too much and ate too much as always...lol
Anyway onto my first card....at last!!
I had been having a go at some inked backgrounds last weekend, then decided to get on with a white on white as I wanted to join in two challenges...

I  wanted to join in Without words challenge too, but realized there was no colouring on my card :o( I was thinking CAS and forgetting the colour!

So first things first, here is my card for this and I will be back later to post my Inky one.
The Tree die and the Snowflake die are both from my Candy win from Nicole. The embossed panel is a freebie from  Simply cards & papercraft Mag.

Added Glamour dust to give a sparkle and  did the frame on my Hougie board. That's about it for now off to call on Sis but will catch up later today hopefully. xx

Blue Christmas

This is a quick post as I wanted to join in the  Simon says Stamp Wednesday challenge Heather's sketch
I loved the sketch and its a challenge I love but always seem to run out of time to join. I have written a list of Challenges that I am going to do my very best to enter in future,.....a new Years resolution in November has been set..lol
Enough waffle here is my card,

Papers are LOTV  and the image is Mo's digital coloured with Promarkers. The little tag is a Memory Box

A shiny wreath

Hi Everyone,
Hope you have a taste of this lovely sunshine that we have today, Its like a spring day and I am wishing the rest of the winter might stay the same.
I have sat and made a quick CAS Christmas card, I have so many still to make, I need to get my skates on. I never start them till the last week in November normally but for some reason I feel panicked this year :O and yet I already have 6 made which is unknown for me.

Did have two pics on but Thanks Sue & Carol I will follow your good judgement and have deleted the first one. :o)

Even this Picture is rubbish.... its all too shiny and the sun isn't helping...but I am keeping the Sun and making do with the rubbish picture...lol

Will be along soon to visit before my favourite Telly night starts. :o)   Got a horrid cough so hubby is pampering me a bit :o)) might get chocolate to watch telly... but then again my hips are screaming NO!!!!    :o(

Yummy Candy Buys

Hi everyone, What a wet horrid Friday here, I hope its better where you are , but at least its actually stopped raining.
I thought I would pop on to show you what I bought with my massive Candy win off Nicole...remember!!!! well I got $50  to spend and a box of amazing goodies...still to look forward to them :o)) :o)) read update at bottom..ha-ha
These are the items I bought with my money, I have been waiting for my embossing folder to arrive which had to be ordered.

Anything but a card...

Good Morning to you all, 
Hope the day finds you well and managing to stay warm.
                Well Today brings a brand new Challenge over at Mo's Digital....Anything but a card is the theme this time. 
So have a break from those Christmas cards for a day and let us see your wonderful creations. 
Ideas!!!!! Boxes, Bags, Tags, Decorations...I am sure you will think of the most amazing things to make. 
Now here is the good bit...You have Two full weeks to enter this time, Yes the challenge is running for an Extra week.

 I have to admit to being without Mr. Mojo this week.
For my DT project I decided to make a Cone to put some sweeties in for a little boy that has come to live over the road. I have also been making some Pillow Boxes lately to put pretty silk scarves into for a few small gifts so this is one of the boxes, I added Mo's image the adorable Winter fairy Halla to make the tags. I have to admit to making a mistake  here as I intended using A different image and got myself confused...lol  well that doesn't take much at this present time :o  Anyway Colouring done and tags on before I even realised..doh!! 
BTW Mo has New images to take a peek at to :o))

 

I added a few snowflakes to the cone after the first pic was taken...

Playing with boxes

Hi Everyone, Hope you have had a good weekend, sorry not managed to get around very much as its been a little busy around here. Saturday I spent cooking and baking to top up my sister's freezer to try and encourage her to eat. Still no results from her tests :o(   I think we maybe should start shouting now. She did ask the Diabetic nurse to have a look on the computer to look for any results but she said nothing had come through as yet. She said this scan that she had could take up to 4weeks and possibly even 6weeks.
Anyway she now has lots of nice meals that she can heat up, She was getting ready meals delivered but didn't like them......said the potato was Wallpaper paste.. and the meat had come from a tin.....lol
Well onto my post, This is a little  box that I sat and played with whilst watching Strictly on Saturday night. I was too tired to do anything  much, but enjoyed this. Not faultless I am afraid but I was quite happy.
