Missed you!!!!

Well at Last I am back!!!
                         We have had no internet and no television  since last week :o( we have done things we haven't done in years...lol  Played cards, Backgammon, and the radio which is normally on all day till teatime has been on till bedtime every day. Thankfully they have been to repair today so we have our internet back! It was really awkward as we had just bought things on ebay when the internet went off!!!  we couldn't contact the sellers or anything, what a pain.
Anyway all seems ok now and I will catch up ASAP.
The day it all went off I had made cards to enter a couple of challenges..........one card is too late :(
City Crafter Challenge..Roses & Lace I thought I may have missed this challenge! but I still have time to sneak in :)

Allsorts Challenge...Love is all around

A feathery touch!

Morning Lovely bloggers,
Hope you have some of this lovely winter sunshine where you are. Its a beautiful morning here on the N/E coast, it certainly lifts your spirit and makes you think that Spring is around the corner.
 Well to business, here is a card I managed to make last night between chasing Alfie around the table on more than one occasion as he kept snatching everything I dropped and running with it...goading me to chase him, the little tinker!

 Entering it into City Crafter Challenge..Oh Feathers.
Its ages since I entered this challenge and I used to enjoy it so much.
The die cut feathers were a free gift on the "Simply cards and Papercraft Mag. The papers are LOTV Bonnets & Bowties.
Well I think thats it  apart from leaving you with a couple of pics of Alfie and his Gorgeous new blanket that Lee made him. He loves it!!! its so snuggly.

I guess its a Winner!!!  Alfie certainly thinks so....lol

Bon Voyage!

Well long time no blogging, :o(  Hope everyone is well and managing to stay warm.
I have been busy busy doing a few house cleaning jobs and also trying to help my sister a bit as she got a cancellation to get her first Cataract removed last week. It was nice to have it sorted a bit earlier than planned, but they seemed to have had a little trouble doing it and she has one very black eye compared to what they expected!
       Anyway here I am and back to crafting :o)
I made this card for the ATCAS Challenge...World
I was a little stuck with this code word as I have no stamps suitable and no papers...hmm!!! I will have to sort that straight away! anyway this is what I came up with.......

 I inked a panel and cut the ship out and stuck it outside the box...added liquid pearls and diamond dust to create the wave and give it a clear water look.

I added a little map of Australia on a pad in the insert, but as the card will go into my stock I will change the map as needs be.

Well thats about it for now, off to do some shopping....the horrid kind..Food!

I managed to have a little play on Saturday when my daughter came to craft. Must admit neither of us had a very productive day! however I did have a play with my new Spellbinders that Santa brought me :o)

I am off to do a bit of spring cleaning...promised myself that I will totally bottom a room at a time and made a start yesterday with the bedroom.

I am joining Debby's Favourite Five creations again, This year I didn't think I could pick 5 to be honest as I feel I have had a rubbish year with my cards. I think the year was packed with so many special occasions that my mojo really did leave on extended vacation. However looking back  I found it wasn't as bad as I first thought...lol
I settled on this 5.......

I loved the way this turned out as I was unsure if it would work as good as I had it in my mind. Of course it was for my hubby for our Golden Wedding Anniversary in Sept so it had to be in Favourite 5  :o)

 This card is so much nicer in real life, I was thrilled with the way the seeds turned out in the middle of these happy flowers, and the lovely sparkle on it.

Hope you all had the best Christmas possible depending on your situation. We had a lovely day and saw all the family at one point or another. Well we did miss one Grandson...Matthew was off- shore  sadly but he gets home today hopefully. It was a shame he was working for his first Christmas after getting married :o(

 I am missing my craft time but as I work in my lounge/diner everything has to be packed away  for holidays.
This is a card from my spare box :o) And as its DoCrafts Papermania Papers it fits the bill perfectly till next week when my craft table will be back in action ....Yippee!!!
