Update... It would appear that Bloggers are safe and will keep their followers,  read Christine's post , isn't it all confusing  ..  http://nanaseaside.blogspot.com/2012/02/info-re-google-followers.html
I read this on a friends blog and wondered if it is really going to happen and we would lose our followers link....

This is so sad to find that Google Friends Connect is ending at the end of this month and we are to lose our followers too, so I have added a new linky on my blog so please  will you all sign up as I don't want to lose you all.....how sad is that
Could you also add it to your blog as I don't want to miss any of your gorgeous creations either and why do they do this to us??... :o(
