This was last summer, but I thought about it this morning and started to laugh to myself. This young Muslim lad was delivering leaflets and it was approx 3pm in the afternoon. He must have been called to prayer as he decided to get out his prayer mat and books and laying them very neatly on the grass and kneeling down, kissed the grass then he spent approx 20mns saying his prayers out loud.
It certainly entertained me whilst I washed our coffee mugs up....lol
Not everybody's lawn gets a muslin blessing ...lol
I may have shared this when it happened, if so sorry for repeating myself.

At least it wasn't raining for the poor boy - even with his mat his knees would have ended up wet... fab flowers - and now the garden has been so well blessed you'll have a bumper crop this year! x

Ooh no… I've not seen this before Mau… that's a wonderful story… how wonderful to have your lawn blessed!!! our road used to be like that… never a dull day… always something happening… but now it's oh so boring and nothing ever happens - hope I've not tempted fate here!!! LOL - not seen anything out of the ordinary for quite a while… although I did see a man in Victorian Costume on Penny Farthing ride by last Autumn!!! that is strange right!! ROFL…. wish I'd had my camera at the ready...
