Rocking around...

Happy weekend everyone,
Just thought I would pop on with a card I made last night, sorry I don't feel the picture is all that wonderful. I think the heavy rain and black clouds this morning had a little to do with that. However the sun is now shining ..can you believe this weather!!!!
I decided to use a Bugaboo stamp (Gus) but to be honest I struggled with what papers to use!  so its not quite what I had in mind when I started....lol   Normally I plan it all together before I start, this time I went with the flow and the flow just didn't happen...it sort of stopped mid stream :o(
So that's it, hope I have a better afternoon....lol
I will be around to catch up with commenting shortly.

    I'm like you -- I always pick out my papers before I get started. Sometimes tho... A card can have a mind of its own !! Lol
    This one wanted to be fun !! (& it is!!)
    Love the wonky spellbinders shape -- it adds to the fun look !!
    These stamps crack me up every time!! I love the sentiments about being old! ;))

    Hope your weekend was super fun -- mine wasn't as enjoyable as I had hoped.. (Older daughter really sick) -- but, I did take it easy & relax my wrist so that was nice. :)) hugs to you my friend !

    Oh, but, Mau, I don't agree with you at all. I think these lovely patterned papers are masculine and perfect with this fun image and sediment! It's a card that wanted to make itself and it did a fab job of it!! Enjoy the day! Hugs, Darnell

    Oh I think the flow just worked out very smoothly. I had to laugh at this image..I had recently used the one of the married couple. I liked the diecut you used for Gus, and thought your checks & plaids worked quite well together. I hear you about that it didn't fit your vision though. That happens to me all the time! And I seldom plan it first anyway...just do the image and then try to find papers to fit nicely. TFS & this is so uber cute.
