A touch of Blue

Happy weekend Bloggers, Well I hope it is! but with all this horrid weather descending yet again I think its only good enough to craft..tut! what a shame...lol
I need to pop to town to get my Stir-fry goodies and then I will be cosy and warm for the rest of the day. First I wanted to show you my latest card, I bought some new Spellbinders two days ago and decided to have a play with them ..this was the result. Not a 100% happy with it, as my stamp wasn't clear ..silly me, but  I will try another idea today. I love the dies so I am glad I bought them :) just need some inspiration....and talent.  lol
I added a blue paper to the insert as it is so see through, and it has photographed quite dark, you will see by the insert it was actually a light coloured paper.  

 

The insert With Nitwit Paper from the same pad but sorry I have lost the cover so not sure what it was.

After I had taken this pic. I decided to cut a second base die  and double the front up. I didn't like the wrong side showing inside so stuck  the wrong sides together to give a nice finish. 

The papers are Nitwit and the dies are Elegant Labels 4, I can't wait to go to Harrowgate next week as I want to buy  more papers and more spellbinders, That's if I stop spending the money before I get there. :o

Our Lawn is Blessed

I mentioned at the end of my last post about  My side garden getting Blessed.....lol Well here it is :0  
This was last summer, but I thought about it this morning and started to laugh to myself. This young Muslim lad was delivering leaflets and it was approx 3pm in the afternoon. He must have been called to prayer as he decided to get out his prayer mat and books and laying them very neatly on the grass and kneeling down, kissed the grass then he spent approx 20mns saying his prayers out loud. 
It certainly entertained me whilst I washed our coffee mugs up....lol
Not everybody's lawn gets a muslin blessing ...lol

Coffee with Cream

Morning everyone, Hope everyone is well and lots of hugs to those that need them today.
On Sunday when I went to the Nurseries, I bought a Marianne die...well hubby did..lol and I thought yesterday I would have a quick play with it. The die came with the Oval and the 3part flower so used them both. Hubby was out ..taking an old chap for his eye check up so I was all on my own. Well what can a girl do when she is alone ... craft.
 Not a great lot of detail on this but it was quite easy on the eye so I am reasonably happy with it. Den calls it Caramel! well its coffee and cream to me...talking of which, it must be coffee time by now.

 Well that's me for the time being, off for a coffee and then the dreaded food shop.

I remember it well

Hi Lovely Bloggers, Sorry I have been missing..bet you never noticed....lol
I have tried to leave a few comments over the past week or more, but crafting went on hold I am afraid. We seem as though we have never been in,  and to add to that I think my Mojo went on a long ....long walk :(   I think I had so much hassle with the lappy that I was totally fed up with it by the time I found the simple cure, Thanks to all you lovely bloggers. A special thanks to Viv letting me pester you by email for advice, you are a Gem.
Anyway I am back and yesterday was a craft day with my daughter Amanda and I decided to make a card for two challenges which I love to enter. They both want Bling so that's good, thanks girls for making my life a bit easier this week :)

   I so remember my two girls dressing up, I even remember me wearing heels that high..oh! those were the days, even the first rung of a ladder makes me dizzy these days.....lol The image is of course a gorgeous cutie from Mo's digital. I cut her out and mounted her on foam pads, I struggled to cut around her bag handles and have noticed you can't even tell because of the white drawer...lol could have saved the hassle.
 Well I am off to the nurseries shortly for coffee and scone..and a peek at the craft section of course....tee hee.

Little pink number

Hi lovely bloggers, oh! how I am missing you all : ( I have had a few minutes here and there on hubby's laptop but I am still struggling with mine...grrr! It will let me do anything on it ..until I get on my blog, then it won't open things and it won't shut them. If I get my comment box open then it won't let me scroll down to read them...takes approx 5 mins to load it up. I get to click on someone blog eventually and then I can't close it again. Its driving me nuts now as I have had every Mal ware...etc. on it and its as clean as a whistle, I have also removed all my pics etc. off it so the memory is super fine. We have spent every day for two weeks on the Stupid,daft,idiot of a thing and to no avail......can you tell I am mad!!! Awaiting some help ...then its in the bin if no joy.
Well I am on Den's lappy yet again to load this card and then its coffee time :)
This is one of a couple I have played with over the past week, its rather simple but its perfect for who I want it for. Hope it fits the Valentine challenge over at In the Pink..Pink Valentine. I know its not exactly a valentine card in my case but ....it could be, couldn't it...lol

here is a second one that I took, my photography has a lot to be desired I know.

 

  Plus the card is so pale I found it quite difficult to photograph it. I embossed the background panel then added a window panel that I bought at Harrowgate show last Oct. I inked it and added my lovely Vivienne Butterfly (Memory Box) The Love sentiment was cut on my Cricut.

I added some Mica colour to my butterfly and them embossed it with some Crystal embossing powder but  sorry it doesn't show well on the picture.

Well that's all for now but I will try and post another card that I have played around with later today.

Pink Valentine

Just a very quick post I am afraid, My laptop is still very sick and so I am trying to borrow hubby's but It works a little different to mine so between waiting for it when he is finished on it and then trying to find things on it its taking forever. On top of that as soon as he comes off it and I go on...he takes to playing his accordion to pass the time..I can't hear myself think.....lol  I think I am stressed out and fed up of the daft thing this week, felt like giving it to the Scrap man this morning when he passed the gate.
Anyway here is my card for In The Pink Valentine Challenge  and Mo's Digital ..Anything goes  before its too late to enter, I have made two cards for In the Pink, but I will have to see if I can get them both posted if not this will have to be it till I get my own lappy sorted.

My own laptop is sick..

Just a quick call to say Sorry for not being around to visit my lovely peeps. My lappy is playing up BIG time, I wait forever for it to open everything up then it takes as long to close things.
I have borrowed hubby's to post this but i need to get my own sorted. I think I will need a doctor in to have a look as we are not Savvy enough to anything further with it. We have been messing on for about 5 days now and we have run out of ideas. cleaned, defragged, virus checks, malware checks.
Anyway I will catch up as soon as possible, untill then I send you all heaps of love and hugs for those that need them.
