Now for a little Blue....Belle

Well this is most unusual for me..two in one day..lol I have posted a pink card, so thought a Blue one was in order now.
I love this little image, she is so sweet, but I have seen similar sweet innocent faces before and you never can tell.....lol
I have a little grand Neice with a real cutie face, but she drives her poor family to distraction,  Angel in Disguise comes to mind...lol
I followed the Sugar Nellie Sketch although I turned it around  to be a bit different!.............................. OK I  will come clean, I stuck the front on the wrong way...lol  as My logo is on the back of the card I couldn't even make it into a tent card :(    but I think it looks good this way don't you? :))  please say yes!
Well off for tea now but will be back to check out  some blogs shortly.

Pink & Trendy!

Morning all, Hope the sun is shining for you, its beautiful weather here today. we are off to look for a car today, as we have been carless since we sold the Campervan. First I wanted to post a couple of cards that I made for different challenges. This one is one I have made for my one and only Grandaughter Holly. Its her Birthday in September....yep! some of you may remember me posting a card a few weeks ago that I had made her ..again with a KK image. well my darling Baby Sis decided to buy it for her Grandaughter...oops!
Silly me had put it in my box of cards to sell and she saw it :(   Anyway here is my new card and I am quite pleased with it considering it was made with textured Cardstock and not a paper in sight :o    (and sis has added to my Harrowgate show fund as she bought 5 cards .. yippee!! so that can't be bad.

Simply white

Hi Everyone,
well after a great 4days away in the Cotswolds, I am now trying to get back into routine with my crafting. Its quite difficult actually when you have just been Wined and Dined and driven around some of the loveliest places. No meals to cook or clean up after and Coach driver to do the driving...can't beat it!!
We have never done a coach holiday before, so decided we would try a short break one to test the waters. I think we will be booking some more,On the way we stopped at Banbury for a few hours, then  included was a full day at Warwick castle, what a fun day we had, A full day visiting Bourton-on-the water 4hr stay, onto stow on the wold, and Broadway.  our last day was spent in Stratford on Avon. A good time had by all, and missed the rain every day...whooo!!
Well now to crafting.. I have tried to do some catching up with blogging over the past 2days but sorry if I haven't reached you yet, I will try to visit you very soon xx
This card was a real struggle for me as I don't think I have ever done a white on white card before. I saw the challenge on Craft Room and thought I want to try that.....fool..lol

The only thing I could think of making was a Christmas card, that for a start was a No-Go area for me...lol     I don't do Christmas till at least November.. in fact it usually is Dec.1st before I get into Christmas cards. Well here it is, Catch you very soon. Hugs xx

Another smile.... Lipstick in school

A news report said a certain school in Newcastle was recently faced with a unique problem. A number of 12yr old girls were beginning to wear lipstick and put it on in the girls toilets. That was fine except they would then press their lips against the mirrors and leave their imprints. Every night the Caretaker would remove them but the next day they were all back again.
Finally he got fed up and complained to the head mistress, The head Mistress decided something just had to be done about it and called the girls to the bathroom. She explained what a lot of hard work they were causing and how very difficult it was to remove the lipstick. (You can imagine the yawns and attitude from the little darlings) so she said to the Caretaker please demonstrate how difficult it is to clean these mirrors.....He promptly took a squeezy mop and dipped it into a toilet bowl near him and proceeded to wash the mirror,  Since then There has not been any more Lip prints on the mirrors........
There are teachers ... and then there are educators .........   :)
See you soon xx

Left you a smile....

Hi everyone, well I have organised everything at home, and now I am ready to escape for a very short break. Amanda has complained she will have nobody to craft with, I am worried she will have access to my stash!!!! ....lol
Well I thought I would leave you something to make you smile till I get back...
An elderly yorkshireman lay dying in his bed. while suffering the agonies of impending death, he suddenly smelt the aroma of his favourite scones wafting up the stairs. He gathered every once of strength he had and lifted himself from the bed. Learning on the wall he slowly made his way to the stairs and with even greater effort he gripped the stair rail and made his way to the foot of the stairs. With very laboured breathing he manage to reach the Kitchen door. Was this Heaven, he could see the table laden with at least a hundred of his favourite scones.....It had to be he had died and this truly was heaven, or had his wonderful wife of 60yrs decided he was going to leave this world a happy man.  slowly he edged forward and his trembling withered hand reached for a scone.... when it was suddenly smacked hard with a wooden
spoon......"Get your hands off" she shouted,"they're for the funeral;    :))

With thanks to the "Eye" publication

Catch you soon xx Hugs

Beach huts at the ready..

Happy Weekend Bloggers,, Well I thought I would start the day off with my card for some Summer challenges with these super beach huts . Then I got up and saw the day and thought to myself, it not a good beach day at all, the huts might be very useful to keep warm in though....lol You may know that I live at the seaside, its approx 10mins walk from my house to the beach, not that I spend a lot of time on it apart from walking along it to the next cove...not a great lover of sand in my toes...lol Thats an age thing i guess, as a kid I would have loved it.  Well this is what I came up with for the challenge, the Candy stripe paper reminded me of Deckchairs and candy floss. The image is one that I won from Delicious Doodles and I love it. I am quite short of this type of image so it was quite refreshing to colour something so different.
I hope to get back to crafting later today but first I need to slip to town and get last minute things for our family wedding on Monday. I have decided a new bag is needed and I just haven't been able to find what I want. Its very late to get one now, but I will have yet another look  otherwise its one I have tucked away. Hubby is at my sisters today with Grandson doing a little job for her so I will hopefully get to play as soon as I get back...yippee!
Catch you all later, be good and have a good day whatever you are up to.
